You do not manufacture your own thoughts

Otherwise you would manufacture only bliss.

You do not manufacture your own thoughts
Otherwise you would manufacture only bliss

Good is always in you
Bad thoughts comefrom outside
Let in by yearning flesh

Why else would man ever freely choose evil thoughts?
Unless he enjoys evil?

For, if he acknowledges to himself that he thinks evil thoughts
As all men do
But he does not admit that he does so
It means that he is ashamed and remorseful

It also means that he does evil in the dark
Unseen, with the shades drawn

This is sin

Yet, today he will tell you
His thoughts are his own
There is no evil
Crouching at the door
Perhaps unaware that
By declaring such a belief
He has instantly declared himself evil

He has, by that definition, declared himself answerable to no one
He is, by definition, a god.

If there exists Good and evil

And evil men prosper without consequence
Then surely the natural order has been violated.

If man enjoys evil in the dark
Then he is surely open to any evil proposed to him
