Trees

Trees are not liars.

The tree is front and center in the imagery of the Garden of Eden. God’s Creation of each tree as unique allows our minds, made in the Image of God, to grasp concepts of variability, creativity, and possibility.

Trees are not liars.

If a branch that grows out from a rooted tree suddenly decides to divorce itself from its own branch and roots – to divorce itself from the truth of what came before it – then what has it become? It is no longer a living branch.

When a branch breaks away from the tree and from the very branch that sustained its creation, when it denies that anything previous has any truth or validity . . . it cuts itself off from the entire tree that has produced it. The tree forever being a symbol used to understand the mind of the Creator God. The divorced branch will not continue to be suspended in the air by itself, with no roots or tree, working itself upward to its heaven.

It will come crashing down to earth. Being a branch, and not a seed, it will then absolutely die. All those who deny the truth that came before them are as dead branches. All the dead branches will be thrown into the fire.

A constant imagery put forth in Scripture and in commentary throughout the Ages about Hell and the last judgement.
