The Wizard of Oz

Theosophy's Secret Odyssey: Once confronted, the Great Thinker gives them all.

Oz is subconscious. Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion - thoughts, feeling, courage. The Wicked Witch of the West is the Catholic Church.

Over the rainbow lies the hidden realm.

Dorothy reaches the hidden realm in a different state of consciousness.

Dorothy crushes her fears, a wicked witch, before entering the hidden realm.

Glinda is Dorothy’s higher self. Glinda tells Dorothy to seek.

The slippers show who is really in control.

The Wicked Witch will not master Glinda. Glinda dismisses her with a laugh.

The road to Oz is the path to enlightenment.

Scarecrow is scattered.

Tin Man is frozen.

Lion is afraid.

The Emerald City is a cathedral. Beautiful. Ridiculous.

The Great Oz disembodied, all smoke and bluster.

Still, the Lion jumps out the window.

The Wicked Witch of the West is the Roman Catholic Church. And death.

After she kills the Wicked Witch, all bow down to Dorothy.

Dorothy confronts Oz, the Great Thinker. Now, so does the Lion.

Once confronted, the Great Thinker gives everyone what they want.

The Great Thinker confesses that he is a Kansas man as well.

The Great Thinkers plan for Dorothy is inept. He flies away.

Glinda now shows the way home. Dorothy understands.

Dorothy switches from Oz to Kansas (conscious) by clicking her heels.

Dorothy has power the Great Thinker never dreamed of.

Dorothy leaves her heart, mind and courage in charge of Oz.
